Outboard Oil

Featured Replies

Has anyone used mystic outboard oil that bass pro is running a sale on

I didn't know they made outboard oil until the BPS ad came out so I was wondering the same thing. I used Mystik oils in my shifter carts for years and they were always great.

BPS does not have a plant to produce the oil. They contract with a plant to mix the oil to BPS specifications.

BPS stands behind all of their products. So I would not have any qualms about using BPS oil unless your motor's warrentry expicitely mandates you use the motor's manufacturer's oil or you void your warrenty.

I like Mercury oil because I have a Mercury outboard.

If necessary, I would have no problem using the BPS oil as a short term replacement.
