How Would You Fish This Lake?

Featured Replies

The lake is about 10 minutes from my house.

I see humps and my eyes get big. Haha. In all honesty, it would depend on the weeks leading up to it for me. If it was a chilly winter, I would focus on these deeper humps out off shore. Then the channel breaks where it starts tapering off deep. Bass will begin moving from these deep holes towards spawning flats, so if you can find an avenue between the two, you should be set. Tubes, jigs, jerkbaits, and maybe some spinnerbaits if you're on a warming trend.

Just remember, you'll be fishing when bass are in the prespawn, unless it's unseasonably warm and water temp hits 60's.

Therefore, find the forage, you find the bass.

Good luck and let us know how you do!

Nope, too many lakes here to fish them all.
