I ordered a 72MM Legend Xtreme from the bargain bin and it came in the mail today.

All I have to say is WOW. Not only did it come with a rod sleeve, this thing is soooooooo light matched with my Gen 3 winch.

I CANT WAIT FOR THIS SNOW TO MELT.

The way they packed it was out standing.

Sounds awesome! St. Croix is a great brand. I do not own any but I give credit where it is due. 

On a different note my Fenwick came packed in a sleeve not only with bubble wrap but the ends also had foam padding. Both are great all around companies.

Mine came packed well too. I have to say that most places have figured out how to pack them right. TW does a good job...even cabelas does alright. I actually got one from walmart that was packed well too. St Croix packs them in the sleeve first which makes it easier to pack well.
