Ive always seen thees at the store but never got them but now i always read about them on here i had to get some but what is the best way to rig them,t-rig weighted or not,pitch them near cover and jig up and down or just leave it i one spot and shake it and so on

T- rig , flip em/ pitch em/ or fish them the same as you would a worm.Personally i have had better luck with the baby hogs.

4" baby brush hog t-rigged (skin hooked) with a 4/0 EWG and a 1/16oz tungsten weight fished around cover is deadly here. its one of my go-to's, right up there with the 7" ribbon tail worm, and the 5" senko.

4/0 t-rig lightest weight that conditions allow.

Been using them a lot lately.  Most of my fish today came from t-rigged, pegged with a bobber stop, and pitched tight to cover.  For me, they usually take it before, or right when it hits the bottom.  If not I bounce it towards me a few times, then restart.  I had a lot of fish today take it while it was basically swimming as I brought it back for another cast.  I think it all depends on the fish's mood.

Great heavy cover bait and a good big fish bait. I usually use a parasite weights bullet sinker to peg it to the hook, and work it through brush. Once you are free of the brush, hop it a couple times and then retrieve and repeat.

1/2 oz. Tungsten wt. Pegged, 4/0 wide gap hook and a rattle. Pitch to holes in the thick grass. Let it hit bottom lift 4-6" and jiggle it. If nothing take it out a pitch to another area

I used them last night with good results. I fished the thickest nastiest stuff I could find.

I fished weightless and the hook was a 5/0 ewg. The best results came from swimming it in openings in the veggies. I would slowly drag it over the tops of the weeds and swim it when I hit holes. I just keep thinking what would a frog be doing, and tried to make the brush hog do the same.

My favorite time is in the summer. I like to fish them deep on a carolina rig on river ledges, around humps and points and any other main lake structure really.

i have the best of luck with baby brush hogs t rigged with 3/0 superline gammys, no need for a hook any bigger.  beat the hell outta some banks and you'll wear em out, also let it drop around mats, timber, docks or anywhere really. i swim them a little more than when i fish a worm. this time of year, they're soooo deadly
