Hitting craigslist as i tend to do now and then and come across this post.

New 2013 Crestliner VT17 Aluminum Bass Boat w/No Wood, Mercury 60 4 Stroke, Trailer, Motorguide FW46 Trolling Motor, Lowrance X4, 2 Bank On Board Charger 2 Interstate Batteries And Aluminum Prop. This boat can be purchased for $13,995 with no prep or freight costs. It is available in Black, Red, Blue, White and Gray. We have all of these colors in stock Ready to go.

If this is legit seems like a pretty good deal, 17'6" length, huge 30 gallon live well. lots of storage, recessed foot pedal. The price listed on crestliner website for the same boat is for $14,469.00 and thats with only a 40HP engine! No prep or freight fee. All Aluminum build.

Only thing I would say needed to be done is upgrade your TM and add a killer fishfinder.

If this was available before i bought my Bass Tracker i would be looking into it for sure, I like my 75HP Optimax engine but this probably would have swayed me to be happy with a 60HP - 4 Stroke.

I wonder if they bought out someones going out of business stock. Since they are 2013.

there are a lot of nice tins being made today. I went with Crestliner over Tracker and Lowe, and I do not regret my decision. I have the VT19 with a 115 Opti, and all the upgrades. priced a bit higher than the Tracker but IMO a better built boat and customer service second to none.

They've got the same ad in the Kansas City Craigslist and it's been teasing me for a couple weeks now... if only I could convince the wife that now was the time to buy a boat
