just moved recently and there a small lake within an hours drive of the house. its a lowland res.

talked to a dnr officer today and he said the lake is full of spotted badd with a few lm's mixed in.

 

anyways, ive been skunked the 2 times ive been there. water temp is between 45-50. and is a little cloudy but not muddy.

ive not fished for spots much. so my question is, where should i start? do they behave much different?

just curious on some locations / baits to try.

Fishing from a boat or shore?  Also what lures / presentations have you tried?
