Lookin For Some Advice

Hey guys, so on April first I'm heading to a little pond in my community with bass and trout in them, the problem is that I have never caught a bass on the side of the pond that I have access to. Everybody says you can only catch bass on the other side of the pond. I was thinking about maybe chucking a jig into the middle of the pond. What would you do? I know there are bass in the pond!

Sure, chuck a jig in. Or even a weighted wacky rig. One that you can cast far enough to get where you want.

Saaay, wait a minute. April 1st? You serious about this post?!  :eyebrows:

I did awesome on a Trap. I caught a 5.5lb and a 7lberc a couple days ago. They were on a Spro Aruku Shad, then again I live in Michigan so the conditions could be way different
