I have never been on lake wheeler before and ill be up there in a few weeks, does any one have any advise or any info that might help me find some fish?

Decatur Flats and second creek fish around those two areas and you'll be around fish

I live in the area and very rarely go to Wheeler.  I hope you had some luck.  It is a good lake, but my experience on there is limited

Elk river is always good look for some water with rock in the 4 to 7 ft range or pitch some docks

Hi! Decatur Fisherman here, and yes, there is not much area specific information about Bass fishing lake wheeler currently, DESPITE it being poised to becoming a crucial spot on the circuit. All I can really say is flint creek's mouth is a must.  My boat experience is non existant, but I do know that's an excellent place to fish. I also know there are several guides in the area who can give better help than I can.
