Real quick, are there any good spots to bank fish near Little Rock AFB/AR. I'll be there for 3 weeks and want to do some fishing. I've looked on Googlemaps and noticed Lake Conway, Greers Ferry lake and some local ponds are close to the AFB. Any help will be great.

Maybe Burns Park on the AR River. It is the closest to you. Maybe Lake Conway at the Camp Robinson WMA. Never been there so I don't know.

I work on the base so here are the spots I would recommend for bank fishing. The larger base lake is pretty good. Paradise park is very close and I have done pretty good there. Also you can go to http://www.agfc.com/fishing/Pages/FishingWheretofish.aspx

this is a link to the places to fish in Ar according to Ar Game and Fish. LRAFB is in Pulaski county, but is also close to Lonoke county. Hopefully this will help you out.
