Whats The Difference?

Featured Replies

Whats the difference in the Rage Tail Anaconda and the Rage Tail ReCon worms? I know the ReCon has a ringed body. Does the Tail of the ReCon perform the same way as the Anaconda? About to order some new stuff and was looking to buy some of the ReCons to try.

Big difference in the amount of water the body moves, as well as profile. Similar actions but very, very different baits.

Which one would you prefer in fishing the bottom? What profile does the ReCon give?

I fished both on bottom and both catch fish. Its how they want the bait. One day last year hot summer twitched a rage anaconda on bottom in 7 to 10ft water and caught them that way. They both perform good. If I was you, id buy both :)

I use the anaconda with a small weight or no weight at all, the 7" version that is. The tail is larger and body smaller with the anaconda. The Recon is just a bigger worm with a bigger body that moves more water and IMO is more lifelike because it is softer than the anaconda.

I fish the recon on heavier line with a bigger weight and when I want a bigger profile.

Now if your talking the 10" Anaconda, I have no experience with that size.

Hope this helps. Honestly, both will catch you fish. Maybe if you try both you will figure out which works best in what situation for you.

Good luck!
