Lake St. Clair Hotel?

Featured Replies

I’m considering taking a road trip to Lake St. Clair mid may can anyone recommend a “clean” hotel?

  • Boat friendly
  • Close to lake / launch
  • "Cheap" (I realize that cheap and clean might not go together)

I know there's always bass boats at the Red Roof Inn in St. Clair Shores on Little Mack between 13 Mile and Masonic. It's a few mile to the lake and not sure of the prices! Hope this helps!

Also, Check out Kens Marina on 9 mile.  Best burgers on the lake made fresh.

There is a few places to launch, and some places to stay but you will have to drive about 10 mins from your hotel to fish everyday its just how it is here in this area right now.

Public Boat Launches :

$31.50 gets you covered for the whole year at all DNR boat access sites

DNR - Clinton River Cut Off aka Crocker (130 rigs plus over flow lot that fits 100 plus)

DNR - Harley Ensign (349 rigs popular with the pleasure boat guys, Deep water ramp)

DNR - Selfridge ( 151 rigs no overflow anymore)

Metro Parks -  Lake St. Clair Metro Park ($14 , $7 for your boat $7 for you truck)

Private Ramp - 9 Mile $15 a day ( a bit of a walk to park your truck but)

Hotels by City:

Roseville

  • Red Roof Inn
  • Super 8
  • MicroTel(best in this city gives discount to fisherman)

Mount Clemens/Clinton TWP

  • ConCorde Inns

Chesterfeild

  • Hoilday Inn Express
  • Hampton Inn

Make sure you ask about fisherman discounts at all of them. If you need help getting on fish when come up swing on by the shop and I can help you out.
