cool, what did you think of the plastic? was more like a yum or strike king or closer to a yamamoto in feel?

im gonna order a couple packages ..

;)

I've just begun experimenting with the Hydra.  They sink slower and the tentacles have far more action than the Fat Ika.  They must weigh a bit less because I can't cast them as far.

In my couple outings with them, I've only caught one.  On the other hand, the Fat Ika is my confidence bait - it almost always works...  I'm not sure if the difference is color, because I was using black/blue instead of dark green.

The Hydra looks really cool as it slowly sinks.  Then again, I'm not a fish.  At this point I'm tempted to think it is NOT a replacement for the Fat Ika.  However, I think it has potential.

I bought a couple packs from TW last month. Tried them out just to see how they looked. The tentacles have more action than the Fat Ika. I'm not looking to replace the ika, but sure am going to experiment a lot with the hydra. ;)

This weekend the action was slow for everything I tried.  Results were the same with Fat Ike & Hydra ;)

However, I did conclude that the Hydra is softer and less durable than the Fat Ika.  For now, I'll keep throwing both.
