I'm fishing lake berryessa in northern California next week and was wondering if anyone is familiar with the lake. Just looking for some good tips to get started with the lake any tips on specific patterns to work would be much appreciated

fishing from a boat or the bank. most of the bass have spawned out, topwater bite has been good early on the east side, fish have been schooling up the shad real good, i got a 4 and a 5 on rattle traps fish them out to the deep points, plastics have been good in the afternoon. fish the edege of the grass lines on the north or east side. most fish have been out to 20ft
