Picked this up on Ebay. Its got Gold sides and a black spool, and a Fast Cast Thumbar. Under the reel seat it reads 88-1 88-89. Gear Ratio is 3.8:1

Seller described this as a great deep crankbait reel.

Anyone use this model before for cranking and how did it perform?

What model is this reel based on if I need to get parts...are parts and service still available for this reel?

I know its supposed to be for deep cranking, but what about just general cranking(0-6ft) is this reel suitable for that too?
