St Clair Tube Fishing

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I am heading up to LSC for the first time this week for a few days of smallie heaven!!

How is everyone generally rigging and using their tubes for St Clair?

I have fished Erie and done the drag but I am understanding that LSC is shallow fishing with weeds so I was wondering if a standard exposed hook tube jig is the norm.

Any other pointers for the trip much appreciated!!

We will be staying around Selfridge.

Exposed hook works well. Water was dirty today when I was up there, however, they still loved the tubes. I'd also try cranks and lipless cranks. 4-8' of water, at least for us.
