Hints For Dripping Springs Lake, Ok

Featured Replies

Anyone got some helpful hints on fishing Dripping Springs Lake? I was there last week and could only find small bass. water temp 66 and muddy.

I went in April had luck with jerkbait then, I also found a bed and caught the male off the bed.  I also could see the female but could not get  her to bite she was big.  over 6 for sure.  I also fish crankbaits.  my favorite is to bonce a red one off the bottom in about 10-8 foot of water.

Good luck.  Ft. Gibson has also been really good.  Fishing Jigs in about 8-15 of water in the rocks.  If you want another lake that is good.
