It may have been discussed before but times change and so do opinions after a while on various gear, with that said... I recently bought a Lew's® Tournament SS TS1-H baitcaster over the MG series I was considering. So what's your opinion on em based on use personal preference ect?

P.S: Been wanting to try a lews amd My price rang was 150 + tax., also I didn't need another 7:1.1 which is why i got the 6:4.1 model.

I have this reel, same gear ratio and everything. It is pretty smooth from the get go. Casts well and I enjoy the centrifugal brakes, clicking drag and spool tension knob. It also has a nice low profile. My only complaint would be that it feels somewhat plasticky to me. It has held up well so far and I have owned it for a year so at this point it is negligible. Hope you enjoy.
