Buddys Pond

Featured Replies

Hey yall, ive got some quick questions.

My friend has a pond, 10 foot deep at the middle, i would say stained water, bottom is mossy, there is lilly pads (not now he is killing them off) A little brush pile with logs in water. In the winter time it was 11 degrees and snowing i caught a 4 pounder on a jig. Now as of today it is 90 degrees. I am going to his house saturday to fish with him. He is catching them on buzzbaits. What besides buzzbaits with do the trick? His record is 8.8 caught in the middle of the summer. I would like to catch one if not bigger to show him up for a little fun. Any ideas? Thanks
