Top Shelf Swimbaits

Featured Replies

Anyone have any experience using Top Shelf swimbaits? They look like a great product and unique with the line-through rigging system. Curious to hear any review on these swimbaits. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I bought some a year ago or so. I've caught fish, but no giants. I noticed, after I landed the bass, my line was frayed from the line through rigging. Now I use a heavy leader attached to a swivel for about 18".

I tried 80lb flouro at first, but didn't need that heavy so now I use 30lb flouro leader. Seems to work good, but until I catch a real giant on it I won't know for sure.

Though I have never used top shelf it is similar to an osprey and I have caught a ton of fish on ospreys. Very under rated swimbait.

If you are looking for line throughs osprey and 3:16 are the way to go in my opinion

Have to second the comments from BassEditor ... has the very same experience -- some success, but all small players.
