Mend-It Question?

Featured Replies

Ha Ha you would think I would know that answer to that one. I never tested it on that 3x plastic. My guess would be no. Its a completly different compound. You should go on the Mend-it site and ask Will if he has tested it on the 3x stuff.

One sure way to fnd out is to test it yourself.

I agree with Matt.  I haven't tried Mend-it on the elaztech plastics either, but then, I've never had a need to with the elaztechs.  As durable as they are already I just don't bother trying to extend their life any extra.  Like Matt said, try looking on their website, or e-mailing their customer service.

I will say it has worked on every other plastic I've tried it on.  The heavier the salt content (senko type baits) the harder it is to get it to hold as well, but it still works well enough to fish the bait again.

No, it doesn't. I tried it after reading this post. I cut a lizzard in half and all the Mend-It would do is create a film with no affect on the Elaztic.
