Today went to Bethal lake lots of boats out there. Everybody came back empty except on guy of the docks caught big pig 8lber on a live bluegill. Also saw 3 guys bow fishing for carp. I fish so offshore spots and some peninsula points .... No bites. I used mostly crankbaits spinnerbaits and jerk baits. I think one other guy caught a very small one on a t rig worm. I was very disappointed

Just gotta keep at it man.  I got skunked a lot when I started last summer.  I actually still get skunked a lot.  Just keep reading the articles on here and asking questions and try and put what you learn to use.  It'll all come together eventually.
