Do you think this little kit

would be good enough to make some skirts for myself in combo's that I can't really find anywhere?

I don't wanna go an arm and a leg since I'm not gonna be going all out, just changing the skirts on my existing blades. But ,I'll do what I gotta do to get MY colors.

Don't mean to throw a bucket of cold water in your direction, I got the itch for some different colors myself :(. Took a few old spinners and cleaned the heads, put skirts on them, painted heads to match skirts, changed some of the blades and even put those realistic looking bulging eyes on them. Man, they are pretty if I do say so myself. ;D

Guess there is a reason those old favorite colors are old favorites. Haven't caught a fish on the ones I changed :-[ :'(.

IMHO you can buy several new spinners for that $30, or if you are just wanting to do it, ROLL WITH IT my friend...

My speculation is that the color selection on commercial spinnerbaits will catch all the bass you could possibly want and thinking one can catch more with custom-created colors will not happen.

But ,I'll do what I gotta do to get MY colors.

However, based on this statement, it appears that having YOUR colors is important to you. If you need those colors to fish with confidence, then by all means buy the kit; I would if colors were that important to me.

Check out Stamina Tackle.

www.staminatackle.com I believe.

They have more skirts and skirt stuff than anyone.
