Just bought a 1985 Bass Tracker III, and can not find definative info on it not even from Bass Tracker. I have never had a Bass boat before especially one with bilge pump & aereator.

Does the boat have a fuse panel some where or are all fuses in line? I have searched but can't locate it. On the bilge pump which is an older attwood 500 ghp, there is a large approx 4 inch plate looking thing on the back of the boat, that has sealant around it. Is this where it drains out? If so how since there is sealant around it. Because of the way Tracker installed the hose I can not simply follow the hose as it disappears under a section in back of the boat that is riveted in. And lastly, the aereator an Attwood 500 ghp has 2 hoses can I not just plug up the holes and use the area for storage. I live around High Gate, Missouri so I usually fish Gasconade,Meramac, or Osage.  Thanks for any info in advance.

To answer your question concerning a fuse box, I have a 1991 Pro 16 Tracker that doesn't have a fuse box. I'd like to see pictures of your boat also.

Most of the time the fuse panel is shoved up under the console to help keep it out of the weather.  I have a hard time believing BPS would not put a fuse panel in a boat.  That is an extreme safety measure to overlook that would end up with a lot of law suits from electrical fires.

My 89 Tracker has a fuse panel under the console  mounted high up on the outboard side. I have to lay down on my side to see and reach it.

On the livewell, yes u can use it for storage. I have plugs for mine that I use periodically. I wouldn't put anything in them that must stay dry however.

My dad has, I believe, an '86 or '89 model Bass Tracker.  The fuses on it are under the console mounted to the side of the boat.

Thanks for all the advice. The fuse panel is located up under the console. There are 5 fuses, as someone has done some shadetree electrical work sometime in the past, I'm going to have to trace each down to see what if anything they go to. Does anyone know about the bilge? Ive never had one before. I see the outlet hose going under some skirting inside the boat but it is riveted in so I can not see or reach to where the hose is connected. On the outside of the boat there is like this 4 or 5 inch plate looking thing with a screw in the center. This plate has a lip to it and it has a lot of sealant around it. If this is to the bilge I do not understand just how it

I think some one has screwed  on a plate over your outlet for the bilge pump. Probably the the bulkhead fitting was broken / removed from the transom exterior. The hose end may be just pushed into the transom opening inside.  Purchase the appropriate transom fitting, Install with some poly ureathane caulking ( gutter seal) attach the hose. You can drill out the pop rivets with an 1/8 diameter drill bit to remove the inside sheet metal. Re attache with new pop rivets or sheet metal screws.

So far it's the only thing that makes any sense. My problem is that to do what you say Im guess I'll have to drill out all the rivets holding in the square part of the inside of the boat just to get to where the hose is supposed to be attached. But what you say makes sense so I'll try that and this time do it right. Thanks.
