Christie Wins Again! Grand Lake Flw.

Featured Replies

Wow, the guy is having a great year, I think this is his 2nd FLW win and he has an Elite win also.  The next KVD?

Steller year! Can't deny it. He is an incredible fisherman. He is going to have a great career.

Is he the next KVD? No, there's only one KVD, there's only one Michael Jordan, there's only one Peyton Manning.... you get the idea.

But what Jason Christie is doing is setting himself up to carve out his own name...He is becoming a better Jason Christie. will he have the longevity that the three athletes I named have? Who knows, but if he does yes, his name will be up there KVD and all of the other Fishing greats.

But to get the sense of you meant, yes, he is quickly becoming the "next big thing"

He's good no doubt but I'll reserve my judgement until I see how he handles himself on different bodies of water. Ultimately we'll see what he does in the AOY standings in both trails and if he can win (or come close to winning) any tourneys in a place like FL, Red River, etc. KVD has not only won tournaments but has won the classic on different bodies of water...and then there's his AOY titles.

Christie is doing amazing and I hope he has a winning future, but no KVD comparisons yet. The consistency of KVD is unrivaled. 7 AOY titles...enough said.

Any new angler could become the next KVD.  But to compare him to KVD now?  There is no comparison. We'll see what he does but the Okie is looking mighty fine!

Hats off to the man, he's one of the best anglers out there without question.
