Combo C Lector & Color C Lector

I been picking up the combo c lectors when I see them. My last one is brand new in the case. I just won a Fenwick color c lector on eBay this one only tells the color lure to use. As we're the combo c lector tells us the color, the ph and the water temp at that level. These are affordable right now. It's a handy tool on a tough day. There is a new high tech one I need to buy yet too. Bb

Keep in mind that the inventor of the unit, Dr. Loren Hill, said that the unit would tell which color had the highest visibility but that the one with the highest visibility wasn't necessarily the one that was most likely to generate a strike.

I still have the original color (not combo) from way back when. I turned it on the other day and it still worked. I was surprised.

I used it a lot but then I found that once I tested the lakes I fished, the color didn't change much from year to year, except under unusual conditions. So I use the same colors that I found, and they still work.
