Lews Tp Comin My Way!

Featured Replies

Some of you all know of the problems I had with my gen 3 STX...after tossing around ideas and going back and forth between a chronarch and the lews TP I decided on the Lews TP. however I still plan on getting a chronarch lol

any way the Lews is goin on the 2013 LTB 71MHF that I had for the STX...cant wait till weds when it gets here!

You will be very happy with the TP, after you go through with the Chronarch you will know why those that have had both love the TP,,,,,,or after you get the TP and use it,,,,,,,,you may want to look at a Team Gold, they go for around $175.00 and in my opinion are a nicer tighter smoother reel than the Chronarch, I have 3 and 1 original Team, and I don't think I could replace them with another reel for twice the money!!!! But See what kind of bang you get for your buck on the TP,,,,,,,, that's going to be a "SWEET SETUP",,, :thumbsup3:

I feel certain you will like the TP.  Mine is on a 6'6" MH Cabela's XMLTi.  Unfortunately I didn't get to use it much before my 10 year old grandson commandeered the combo.  Need to see if I can talk him into a different combo.  :teeth3:

I absolutely love mine! Smooth as silk and casts a long way. On a Abu Vertas now but about to be on a *** next week.

I really believe you should get both reels you noted...

To say one is better than the other is purely opinion not fact. He may end up getting rid of the Lews after fishing the Chronarch or vice versa. In the long run if you both and try them out and keep them in good shape you should be able to get a good price on both gently used when you sell one.

I have and use both brands of reels. I like both but would pick the chronarch personally but have zero issues with Lews. The're both great products that can be had for under $160 and a great buy in that price range.

You could go to Tackle Warehouse and use their loner program and try both reels. They will let you try them for a week. It does cost a few bucks but it's pretty reasonable.
