I can get them both for about the same price a lot of people have said the power diesel but a lot of people also say St. Croix. I use plastic worms and grubs mostly, what would be best for me. Or another one if there is one, i prefer to stay around the $70-80 range

powell diesel is pretty hard to beat. espceally with the sale going on now, you can pick one up for $50

Where is that? And my only reason for debate on the powell diesel is the size, its 6"10 and the car i usually take to go fishing a ford focus, idk if it will fit and not be damaged at all. It is 1 piece correct?

Well, usually go fishing with 1-2 other people so passenger seat really wouldn't be open.

Yea thinking about it, i have to have a 2 piece, so now i don't even know what to do, i wanted to order tonight but i don't know if ill be able to figure it out by then. Any recommendations are really appreciated.

I can't even find that many 2 piece rods, a few say it but others say nothing. Like the ugly stick doesn't say it but i know it is, not buying that again but how can i tell if they are 2 piece? most of the pictures are half pictures, for obvious reasons.

These are pretty much my options now, Abu Garcia Vendetta 2piece , Berkley Lightning Stock(if it is 2 piece), Fenwick HMX2 piece, Shimano Clarus 2 Piece and those are pretty much what ive found for the price range and is 2 pieceso which do you guys think would be the best?

I like my Clarus.  Especially with the lifetime warranty. 

I went with the Pflueger President and the Abu Garcia Vengeance 2 Piece. I got them on TW for $10 off each because they price matched DSG plus they gave me the 15% off and i will just upgrade the rod at a later time because i have to have a piece till probably around september.

I think you should have no problem fitting up to a 7' rod in a focus. I used to fish with a buddy that had a sunfire and we could fit 7' casting rods in there no problem. A couple times there were 3-4 of us in there and everything fit well. Rods were a little bent but not to the point of doing any damage. Anything under 7' fit without bending. You have to go from the middle of the back seat to the dash right up the center. 

 

Otherwise I would never consider buying a 2pc rod. You loose way too much sensitivity and the action of the rod is very odd. I'd strap the rods to the roof before I would buy a 2pc rod. 

Well, thats why i didn't get a more expensive one, i got  that for 33.99 and i can upgrade later and im not really out anything and have a extra rod.
