I grew up in East Texas. I used a lure called okie dok or okie doke. I live in California now. I have tried everything to find this lure. It may not be made anymore. While calling random bait shops in Texas, the best advise I could get is check garage sales. That will not work as I will not be able to go home (Texas) for a couple of years,(new job). This lure looks similar to a "flatfish", but is not so curved. The other main difference is it had what looked like a little rudder on top where you tie the line. They were either silver or gold. This was in the 70s. Please help

The okie-dok was invented by Martin Fixen ,he was an artist that lived next door to my grandfather. It was patented under Fixen Plastic Co. Mpls Mn.
