Is Flyfishing equipment allowrd in the Elites and FLW tours? I know it would be unorthodox...

I don't see why not. It's still a rod and reel. I wouldn't be happy being in a boat with a fly fisher though.

There was some debate as the rules are not super specific.  There are rod lenght limits but pretty much every manufacturer makes a rod that is 8' or under for bass fishing.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed ot be used other than when bass are shallow a fly rod is proibably the best tool to pick apart the existing cover and land fish.  For me, once it gets deeper than 5-6 feet it just isn't as much fun anymore so i move to conventional gear.
