Why Is Tropical Storm Chantal Significant For Bass Fishing?

Dave Toloris has been on target for many years with his predictions. He is usually two weeks ahead of the local TV and radio weather reports and he has called the locations of where the hurricanes will come ashore accurately. It is really spooky to hear Dave on the radio calling the weather shots when a hurricane is approaching Virginia and he is disagreeing with the local weather reporters. Then we find out that Dave was right and the locals finally corrected their reports about 24-hours before the storm comes ashore.

You can subscribe to his Facebook page and get these updates and follow the storms and weather across the USA.

Here is what Dave posted about Chantal that is headed into Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. Looks like some of us will have to postpone some of our fishing days if what Dave says becomes fact.

*** WHY IS CHANTAL SIGNIFICANT ?**

FACT #1... Since 1952, seasons with a tropical storm in the MDR, main development region of the tropics, in the month of July have averaged 150% of normal activity for the year and have an almost 80% chance of seeing an ACE of at least 120 or higher.

FACT #2... The A storm formed in the eastern Gulf and moved into Florida then into the southeastern states. Now we have the "C" storm that is LIKELY to move into southeastern states next week....

This again supports the "FIRST TROPICAL CYCLONE OF THE SEASON RUKE"... It is OBVIOUS to me that the southeastern US will see several landfalls this season. Whether these are storms or Hurricanes or Major Hurricanes cannot be known

FACT #3 Over the last 14 DAYS as we move into the HEART of the Summer and the Summer Pattern the SOUTHEAST United States has seen OVER 300% of NORMAL rainfall and 200-300% above Normal rainfall over eastern Virginia, eastern Maryland, Delaware,  eastern Pennsylvania all of New Jersey and all of New England. Even if you back over the past 60 DAYS we see the same sort of rainfall pattern.

The storm has made a move to head out into the Atlantic or inland.

Too many conflicting computer models.

This weekend's fishing in Florida and Georgia does not look good.
