Looks like it's for ice fishing?

Is that the teardrop?....that is 13 Fishings new ice reel.

Edit: Looks like the same concept but it is not the teardrop. but if you go to *** website it shows a pic and a breif write up.

It takes the line twist out of ice fishing from what I gathered

Looks like it.  The Product name on the card behind it says XXXXDROP, so I'm assuming so.

Ok, the pic on the website, had a little bit of a different guide around the spool. I honestly ran across it yesterday

looking at the *** and *** green saltrods. But it was so intriuging I read up on it.

Could it backlash?

Looks like a photoshop creation to me.....lol

Hootie

It is used for ice fishing. It is like a saltwater jigging reel, but on a spinning reel mount so that you can use it on light power spinning ice rods and you can reel it in like a spinning reel. It looks weird but cool

Its the newest ice reel. It will not cast.

Should be killer for the walleye/pike guys.
