Hi Johnny - since you're new, stop by the introductions forum and say hi!

Are you looking to buy pre-made stabilizers or make your own?

A couple of Scotty rod holders, some PVC and lobster pot buoys will make a fine stabilizer pair. That's how I used to rig my canoe, but now I've got a kayak that is stable enough to stand in.

These outriggers are from Spring Creek Outfitters.

When I fished from a canoe I bought some but found it they really weren't needed if you buy the right canoe.

I bought an old town discovery square stern 17 foot.

That thing was stable enough to walk around in it. Had a 5 HP on the back with a side mounted trolling motor.

Yeah just looking for pre-made stabilizers, to custom ideas, I'm new to this site, never really joined a forum so yeah I'll go introduce in a bit here, but that Spring Creek Outfitter rig looks LEGIT! I don't a home yet, so don't have space for a boat or a vehicle to tow it so I'm more into the canoes, but just wondering what everyone haves on their kayak/canoe set up for stabilizers.

I've got the Spring Creek stabilizer and it's great. I can stand with no issues (6'5"). Worth it

Oh so they actually sell those pre made? I thought that rig was a shop's rig for show or something, how much was it?

Spring Creek outriggers come in several float styles and prices vary depending on the float selected and the width of the canoe.

We just ordered the Spring Creek stabilizers that Goose52 posted. They are going on our Coleman Scanoe. Can't wait to try them out.
