Bluegrass Music From West Virginia

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I wanted to share some bluegrass videos with you all. I play in a bluegrass band with my brother, my former 6th grade English teacher, and our family friend.

We started playing back in 2006 as a band, but I picked up the guitar in 6th grade. Our band has now been fortunate enough to play everywhere from Chicago to Nashville to El Salvador. This weekend, we are performing for a festival called Pioneer Days in Marlinton, West Virginia, and we are performing for the National Boy Scout Jamboree on Sunday evening. For more information on our band, click here.

Anyway, here are some videos, I hope you all enjoy!

This is an unorthodox take on a rock song by Creed called One Last Breath.

This is an older traditional song called The Gospel Plow.

This song features both the banjo and guitar, called Blackberry Blossom.

Finally, here's a song by just my brother, one that almost everyone should recognize - Foggy Mountain Breakdown.

Thanks,

TF
