Hey I'm new to this site, but not to Bartlett. I'm a 15 yr old and I've been trying to find people to give me tips and stuff and spots. I do have experience fishing with bait, but I'm new to lure fishing. Just give me some suggestions

I live in tupelo,ms. now but I grew up fishing around Bartlett , Tn .

Shelby Farms has some ponds that were fishable in the 80s. I used

to fish some ponds off Hwy 70 near Canada rd. The Hatchie Wildlife Refuge

is located 45 minutes up 40 east near Brownsville, Tn. and has a lot

of small oxbows that I fished a lot once I got my DL. You need a scamp

or small boat for those. They do not have great bank acess. There are also

Some old bar pits around Brownsville Road in Bartlett although I didn't

fish them much. We threw a lot of top water baits and plastics in the summer time.

Top water early and late in the day. Hope this helps.
