There's a spot I go fishing and there is usually other people there (sometimes 10) and its a small place. How much does the popularity of a spot with the high number of people affect the way the bass will bite? Do the bass remember the bait they've been caught on before? Ive been wondering this because it seems like the fish are not going after my bait anymore or maybe they are just not in the same spot? Im not sure but any thoughts?

What you talking about is referred to as pressured water. Bass become much more weary, and it's my opinion that they can get used to seeing particular lures and avoid them. Bass look for anything out of place, any irregularity in the way a bait moves. Some ideas to catch fish in a pressured pond,lake...ect is to downsize your lure, and line. And slow down. Use the most natural looking lures you can. Try your best to match their natural forage. Move to areas that other people don't fish as often. And most of all have patience.

Pressure on fish will def change how they will bite. Those bass prob see tons of crank baits spinnerbaits jigs and Texas rigs over and over again and they are conditioned to them. Try things other guys aren't throwing, drop shots, over sized plastics. Give those fish a presentation they've never seen before.

And I forgot to mention, try night fishing if you can!
