Hey guys,

 

i found a brand new(still in packaging) ocean city bamboo pole in my grandfathers office after he passed away...

 

I do not plan on selling it, however if someone knows the value that would be great. I will post a picture!

Oh and to clarify, when i found the rod, it was still in the packaging. However i took it out of the packaging(i saved it all) and hung it on my wall. It is still in great condition!

Three dollars at a garage sale? Seeing as how it was your grandfather's, it probably has considerably greater sentimental value to you than it would to the general public. Now if it were an antique split bamboo fly rod, it'd probably be rather valuable.

No idea the value, but current bamboo poles can be bought for under $5...

Maybe $5-10 at most. Old bamboo poles were everywhere. The valuable ones are 80-100 years old and octagon, not round. 

It's priceless since it was your grandfathers.

you shouldn't care about the value since it was grandpas ben. it doesn't matter what the value is since it means so much to you.
