Today was a nice day in NC. Once the sun started to go down, it actually felt really good, so I decided to hit the neighborhood pond for a bit. I only took one rod. I started off with a jig, to no avail. After a while I tied on a buzzbait and went to town. I had a few short strikes, but couldnt get em. I decided to move to a different bank, and cast parallel to a few rocks that were scattered around. First cast this beauty slammed ot hard!! He was feisty too. He ended up only weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz., but this was the first fish Iv caught in quite a while, so I figured Id share!!
