Curly Tail Grubs And Weedless Jigheads

Featured Replies

These have always been my favorite thing to fish with. Always been a big fan of Mister Twister. Trying to branch out and try new things. Right now i have been using Kalin's Salty Lunkers and i really like them. Any other fat grubs? I know the fat albert but from all i've seen they only make a 3" i prefer 4+. Also, was wondering if anybody knows some weedless jigheads that have tons of colors. I have found a few, most are black, dark green and a few other random colors.

Big Bite Baits makes a 4" and 5" grub. So does Chompers, Dry Creek, Yamamoto, and Outkast

Yea, there is a ton of the grubs, but i am looking for the Fat ones, like the Kalin's Lunker or the Fat Albert.

Why switch if what you are using is working and you like them?

For a chunker that can be found easily and relatively cheaply, those kalins are hard to beat.  I use them for everything from trailers to T-rigs.

For other brands, I really like the RageTail Menace.  Very versatile, I rig it backwards and forwards on a T rig,  it will hold nail weights, and it works awesome as a trailer on a jig or spinnerbait.

If your looking for a fat one, Outkast makes one that looks pretty chubby, but I have no experience with it.

4" Berkley PowerBait and Kalin's Lunker Grub are two I often use. Lunker City Ribster and swimming Ribster round out most of my grub fishing.
