Skeet Reese Spinnerbait/worm

Featured Replies

So I currently have only two baitcasters.

An amazing 7'3 MH Duckett. which is currently getting used for all my t-rig and jigs.. (I am gonna get a 7'6 Heavy for more variable eventually.)

And then..

I have this Skeet Reese Spinner/Worm rod... I have been using it for spinners/cranks/chatters.. until I get a cranking rod...

It is great for spinnerbaits.. but I dont use spinners all the time.. and the sensitivity on it for worms is TERRIBLE compared to the duckett

Can you guys suggest any other uses for this rod... it has moderate fast tip and moderate action..

THANKS!

Top water presentations? Light swimmers like a money minnow maybe? I've only played with one in store though

for that Id use big spook type baits and yea small swim baits, spinnerbaits/buzzbaits

okay.. it may be a little long for me to pop the bait down as I am 5'9 but I will give it a shot. I need a cranking rod for real!
