About a week ago we had a cold cold cold front move in in Minnesota. Since then the bass have become a little more active and not so EFFING lethargic from the blasted hot water.

 

I hammered em Sunday night. Got 3 Largemouths over 4lbs and about 4-5 other healthy guys.

Even nabbed a 6lb 32 inch Northern on a black and red spinnerbait in a weed bed lol. Thank God for braid.

 

How's everyone else fairing lately? Any good stories anyone wants to share that happened lately? Anyone else in the mid-west get some big action since that cold front?

Here in Wisconsin the fishing last week and the weekend was pretty darn good! Frog bite was hot, and pitching a creature bait was a pretty sure bet to get a few inactive fish. Had a front come through during the weekend though and while fishing was good when it was coming though, the bite's been stagnate.

Monday was really cruddy and today, albeit a little better, was still pretty bad. Buddy of mine caught a solid 6 pound largemouth though but not much for numbers. 

 

I'd expect the fishing to get better than this week once the fish are done being freaked out by the front though... might even be better since it should be a little cooler.
