Pa Side Of Lake Erie, Help?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, later this month ('round the 19th) I have a free weekend, and am planning on taking a trip up to Erie to do some shore fishing. However, any time I had ever been on Lake Erie in the past, it was with a friend/family member who had a boat. I am boat-less now, family sold theirs, friend moved away.

I would like to fish off the shore though, but i'm not really sure where to go. I've heard Presque Isle is good, but I don't know where to go to park to fish. I know there's a regular beach there, but have never been out there myself.

What are some other locations on the PA side of Lake Erie I should try to hit up? (a landmark or something would be nice to help direct me to the location, if you're unsure that's fine, haha.)

I'm out for some SMB, but I would like to whack some walleye and perch while i'm up there, as well!

thanks guys, I really appreciate it. (I did a quick search, but didn't really get a lot of info about physical locations) I apologize if i missed it!

try the transient pier off of the Lempe (sp) campground.  From the bay to the main lake.    Very good area to bounce a heavy jig off of the bottom for some smallies.
