So the local high dollar sportsman store is closing out, and I picked up a pflueger supreme casting reel, and a shimano voltaeus rod, 7' medium heavy, fast action... both new.  Paid 100 dollars, good deal?

I'd say you did pretty good. If it's the Supreme I'm thinking it listed for about $170.
