Hey guys i have been bass fishing for 10 years now for fun and I want to start tournament fishing. I am 14 and i have been to weigh ins and talked to many people on the lake I know that fish tournaments. I fish almost everyday and I live in the Seattle/Bellevue area of Washington and i mostly fish Lake Washington. What tournaments should I sign up for and what else should I do? Any tips or info you guys have is greatly appreciated, I just need a little guidance on what I should do and how I should do it to start tournament fishing. Thanks in advance

Do you have any local clubs in your area?  If so check them out.  I know the club in my area has a JR division.  That would be an excellent place to start out at.

At your age a club or an older partner are the only way.  A club is a great way to learn and meet other anglers.

yes i am, i been filling out the papers for RHS BFC and i will start the next tournament possibly after the state open. ( i cant afford to do the state open right now)
