Submerged Grass In Loch Raven

Featured Replies

New poster to forum--took a brief leave from bass fishing until recently--just started fishing loch raven in maryland--i know summer is slow but im curious about the best way to fish that lake---seems like most of the fish are in the submerged grass---would a texas rig be the besst way to go? or should i look for deeper water and throw a crankbait---any advice would be very helpful----just concerned because the weeds are very thick and not sure how to get to the fish----thanks so much

Maybe a drop shot so your bait is over the grass? Its its think try a punch skirt rig... a swimjig, look up a jika rig that has caught me many nice bass this summer...
