Stanley Double Take frog hook?

Featured Replies

Anybody try these yet? I bought a pack of them last week to try with the Ribbit frog and was wondering if they improve hookups. Can't see how they couldn't.

I use them and find I have a much better hook up rate then a single hook.

Agreed I fish ONLY Owner hooks and for something else to be in my hook box really speaks a lot about that hook lol... These hooks increase hookups A LOT and you wont have as many come unbuttoned with them because most times they are double stuck... you dont loose many with a single hook on these type of lures anyhow and with the double hook I havent lost one fish yet and I say I have landed 60-70 fish on ribbits with this hook ive used them about 3 weeks to a month now. They are worth the coinz if you fish any type of buzz toads. and the points are great I havent used but one hook on all those fish and never had to even touch it up with a file its still pretty sharp I will be hitting it with a file the next time I put a new toad on it lol now that I have thought about it.
