Just scored another Lew's Team reel, this time I finally got a Team Lew's Pro, I have said it before about the regular price and the Lew's Team Gold, I don't think there is a real available at twice the price that can compare to these real's. They are unbelievable. I found a Team Pro, brand new, but someone had stolen the spool from it. So I made an offer to the clerk of $100.00, without the spool and out the door, and after checking the owner said sell it???? I got the box paper work warranty everything, "but the spool". I instantly called Rick at Lew's when I got it home, and found the new Spool complete with the pinion bearing and drive pin, was only $60.00!!! Talk about grin from ear to ear. I got the new spool in it Thursday, and must say, these are ssswwwweeeeeett.

 

I had it out this mourning and I have to say, it is everything I thought it would be and more, these reels are unbelievable!! Paired up with a St, Croix LBC68MXF @ right at 10 oz. It cast great and was smoother than silk, the drag is excellent, and using light to weightless soft plastics I caught  several bass between 12" and 18" this morning, nithing huge but a good outing for a first time out. I will post a review after a better testing. Until then it will be right at home with the rest of the TEAM!!

I am a best bang for your buck guy! If it works better for less I am in!  Seriously, I didn't sell my Chronarch's Calcutta's and Curado's, because I wanted to downgrade my equipment,,,,,lf you don't try em all, you never know what you like best, and will always be a brand Loyal guy, not me.  I wouldn't have chose my Tournament over my Chronarch, but I wouldn't choose a Chronarch over a Team Gold, or a Zillion over a Tournament Pro and after using a Core, I think this Team Pro will stack up with ease!  I believe any reel Lews makes I would have to spend twice as much (suggested retail) to buy better!

 

Same with spinning gear, I cant find a reel better than the Stradic for less than twice the money either, they are all on Avids and Legends also,,,,,,,,for the same reason!!!
