    Short stick for pitching jigs 3/4 oz or under. Texas Rigs 3/4 oz or under. Spinnerbaits 3/4 oz or under. Heavier Top Water stuff. Basically anything under 1 oz except treble hooked baits, light stuff under 1/4 oz or baits in really nasty cover.

    You kinda have the service truck of rods. The shorter length can give you more accuracy and is easier to use when shore bound in the sticks.
