I'm taking a friend fishing up at Hideen lake and was looking for some lure choices for the early morning. Since the temps have dropped a bit, I'm figuring their going to be shallow and by the banks.

I'll try some black buzz baits and senkos as the sun gets up, but ay other good tips for fishing these small ponds in the early fall, up here in PA?

Spinnerbaits are always good early. I have not fished Hidden Lake before but I have fished Minsi MANY times.

Minsi produced nothing last night. I went for a few hours before dark and stayed until the moon came up. Using spinnerbaits and frogs. The frogs didn't even produce one strike. The Sb did get one hit only.

Is the water level back up at Minsi yet? I heard they temporarily fixed the d**n and the water level was rising back to normal.
