Just a reminder to pray for the families that have been effected by all the flooding and those that have lost loved ones in Colorado ! Its sure a mess over there ! On the weather channel they said the name for the kind of storm they had was called , "The 1000 Year Storm ".

Lanz, being from New Orleans I know about flooding and the Colorado floods were devastating.

 

You can't control water and electricity and all that water just demolished everything in its path.

 

A real disaster. Thank goodness more people were not killed or injured.

It's been a very rough ride for some of us due to storms. Last October it was the freak snow storm. I had my winter snowplowing gas supply all filled up, my gas engine Hobart

welder with 4k watts ready to go and my 4x4 jeep tractor just tuned up. I was ready with all my firewood near the house too. We had the freezer filled and the canned goods stocked up too. I purchased two swedish propane camping cook stoves two years ago. I'm lucky I was ready. We had no power for 7 days. Some had no power for up to two weeks.

With all this silly talk of the end of life as we know it I been stocked up and,ready for anything. My next thing is a backup solar 12volt system.

But with some disasters some have no house. That has to be the toughest thing to lose. I feel not dying is the most important thing. Material things can be replaced as with lives they can't be replaced. I can't imagine there pain that they go threw.
