As fisherman I think we all have are little good luck charms we do.  I have a few favorite that I picked up from my PopPop.

1. Kiss the bait

2. Kiss the fish

3. if a dragonfly lands on your rod, it is good luck.

 

What are the good luck ideas you guys have heard?

    I always ask god to take me out safely and most of all let me return to my family safely, a few fish is the bonus.

    I chunk empty beer cans into the water as a token of appreciation to the water gawds. With hopes a mermaid will show up on my side imageing.
